GUY'S NEW ORLEANS-STYLE
"BIG EASY" BBQ SHRIMP
(SERVES 2)
When using LARGE, HEAD-ON shrimp:
Add 10-12 large shrimp (head on), 1/3 cup of Guy's Base, and 1/3 cup of water to skillet and cook over high heat until water is GONE. Once shrimp are cooked and water is gone, turn off burner and add one stick of butter. Mix in butter until melted and serve with French bread. WATCH VIDEO
When using SMALL, PEELED shrimp:
Add 20-30 small peeled shrimp, 1/3 cup of Guy's Base, and 1/4 cup (or less) of water to skillet and cook over high heat until water is GONE. Once shrimp are cooked and water is gone, turn off burner and add one stick of butter. Mix in butter until melted and serve with French bread.
Note: Adding water to cooking process may not be
necessary for peeled shrimp.
GUY'S NEW ORLEANS CHICKEN
& COMPANY
Season and cook chicken breast. In a separate pan, sauté 1/3 cup Base, sliced mushrooms, halved cherry tomatoes and chopped green onions. When mushrooms are cooked, turn off heat and add 1 stick of butter. Pour mixture over cooked chicken breast, top with cheese, and broil in oven until golden brown. Serve over rice (optional).
BBQ SHRIMP PIZZA
Cook small, peeled shrimp using Guy's traditional "Big Easy" BBQ shrimp recipe. Then put the cooked shrimp and sauce on top of your favorite pizza crust. Top with cheese, green onions, and any of your favorite toppings. Bake pizza in the oven til cheese is melted and crust is crisp.
SHRIMP N GRITS
Cook small, peeled shrimp using Guy's traditional "Big Easy" BBQ shrimp recipe. Then pour the cooked shrimp and sauce over grits.
BBQ SHRIMP POBOY
Cook small, peeled shrimp using Guy's traditional "Big Easy" BBQ shrimp recipe. Stuff the shrimp and sauce into French bread for a delicious poboy.
BBQ CRAB CLAWS
Simmer 1/3 cup Base and 1 stick of butter in skillet until butter is melted. Then turn off heat and add crab claws. Mix and serve.
GUY'S BBQ SHRIMP PASTA
Cook small, peeled shrimp using Guy's traditional "Big Easy" BBQ shrimp recipe. Then add 1/4 cup half & half or heavy whipping cream to the skillet. Add cooked pasta to the skillet, mix and serve. Top with green onions and parmesan cheese.
Note: If bolder flavor is desired,
add 1 more TBSP of Base.
BBQ OYSTERS
Simmer 1/3 cup Base and 1 stick of butter in skillet until butter is melted, and mix. Then use the sauce to baste oysters on open grill.
BBQ SHRIMP NACHOS
Cook small, peeled shrimp using Guy's traditional "Big Easy" BBQ shrimp recipe. Pour it over tortilla chips, and top with feta and green onion.
BBQ SHRIMP TACOS
Cook small, peeled shrimp using Guy's traditional "Big Easy" BBQ shrimp recipe. Place the cooked shrimp in a flour tortilla and add toppings of your choice (cilantro, avocado, tomato, cabbage, etc.).
